How do Sweet and Bitter Almond Oils Differ?
The Sweet Almond oil variety of carrier oil is used for cosmetic purposes.
Bitter Almond Oil, which is considered an essential oil, retains medicinal properties and benefits, making it safe to use externally in addition to its cosmetic benefits.
Our products use the sweet almond oil extracted from sweet, edible almonds from the sweet almond tree, which blooms with white flowers. These are considered carrier oils and are typically used in skin and hair care to improve appearance, health, and texture.

An excellent emollient, Sweet Almond Oil softens and reconditions the skin. Exceptionally moisturizing for soothing dry, irritated skin. A semi-dry oil that is light on the skin and quickly penetrates with a minimal scent.
It is naturally rich in nutrients and vitamins like proteins, Olein Glyceride Linoleic Acid, Vitamin A, D & E, monosaturated fatty acids, Omega 6 & 9, Potassium & Zinc. Vitamin A helps enhance the skin’s tone, and texture & fatty acids help skin soothe & retain moisture. The Vitamin E content of Sweet Almond Oil helps lighten stretch marks and reduce its appearance. .
